Merge customer data in ShopKey 5.9
Alright, heres the situation.
I have two remote automotive repair shops, both shops use a program called ShopKey. both are on version 5.9.0.7.
I now need to combine those two shops and close one down.
My question is, is there any way to merge customer data from those two shops without overwriting the orginal data from eaither one?
If you need anyother information let me know I will provide as much as I possible can
Thank you in advanced

Without knowing anything about the specific software, assuming that you might have duplicate indexing, could you add a field to each database that specifies it's original shop...?
NO, you need to know the specific software to realize that you cannot do this from within Shopware itself.
However, you CAN indeed EXPORT one entire database to a CSV-type file, and you can also export the other database to another CSV file from within the program. Then you can manaully "merge" the two CSV files. Making sure of no overlap or similar product numbers.
Once done, you can open a new Shopware database, a blank one, then import the merged database from the 2 different accounts. That is about the best you can do, it is some work, but it is NICE when it is done!!!
