Out of office reply problem

I am running Exchnage 2003 on server 2003
When people activate out of office the sender will receive only once a out of office notification.
On the second email no notifications are sent.

Agreed that this is how it is supposed to work, but couldnt you create a rule to get around this problem?

Yes, you could create a rule that would respond to an Everyone group and then set up the message, but this is not a good practice.  If you have a small environment a rule would be the way to go.  In a large environment, I would be concerned about taxing the Exchange environment.
