I have a .htm file as a signature file in MS Outlook. I would like to customize it so that it would display differently when sent to colleagues (on the same internal network), or sent to external parties.
I can handle the scripting of the display, but I am stuck coming up with a test that would determine whether the reader is on the public internet or on my company's internal network. I suppose this may be a common issue: how is it normally handled?
Assuming I have an address of a page that would only be accessible to internal users. Essentially I want to attempt a load of that page, and use the result to determine what content to display. However, even for internal users, I do not want to display that page.
