Ok, let me set the context. I'm a C# developer and know NOTHING about VB6.

When I try to compile this project, it says it's missing a references.  When I go to references, it shows in the list of refrences MISSING.  Ok, so I try to browse to where that references is which does happen to be in the bin folder with the rest of them but it doesn't let me add.  It says cannot add, it's in use.

What do I do?  Is this some special kind of references that I have to do something different in order to resolve my missing reference probelm?

missing references means those activex or dlls are not present nor installed in your pc, example of this is when you are developing in WinXP, by default, ADO v2.8 is usually used, so when you copy your source code to a Win2000, it will not find ADO v2.8 unless you installed the latest MDAC_TYP.EXE from MS.

Ok, learned a few things after getting it to work.  I am so used to the VS 2003, 2005 ide manageing this for me such as registration that I completely forgot that I have to manually register the dlls...and furthermore you need to close VS 6.0 out before doing so or else it doesn't pick up the changes!
