"Ntkrnlmp.exe Could Not Be Loaded. The Error Code Is 7" Error
I am trying to intall WinXPpro on an old prntium III computer. The current copy works but the person using it tweaked and screwed up the entire system that it was recommended to simply format the partition and reinstall windows. The computer was bought with XP already installed and now I want to simply format and install a fresh copy. Problem is the DVD drive does not boot since BIOS does not have an option for boot parameters. I created the 6 disk WIN XP pro installation pack but at the second floppy I get "Ntkrnlmp.exe Could Not Be Loaded. The Error Code Is 7" Error and everything stops. Can I simply go to a computer that allows a DVD to be a boot device and install windows on that computer then move the drive over to the pentium III?
