Hello group,
How can I find out what the keyboard status is in Mac OS ?
It would be great if that is command line. Otherwise still acceptable.

It is Mac OS 10. The keyboard doesn't work when I type but when I connect an external keyboard it works fine. I'm not a Mac person. It is mac book.

You can check using Keyboard Viewer:
1) Click on "System Preferences" icon
2) Select "International"
3) Select "Input Menu"
4) Make sure that "Keyboard Viewer" and "Show input menu in menu bar" is checked
5) From the menu bar click on the flag of the country of your chosen language
6) Select "Show Keyboard Viewer"
7) The keyboard viewer should show you which key you press.

What type of Mac and version of MAc OS do you have iMac, MacBook, OSX10.3/ 10.4?
