retrieve data from ram
Hi expert my question related to ram (Random Access Memory) it is true that I can retrieve data from ram and to retrieve the data from ram I have to keep ram in cold place. If it is true how and which tools I have to use.
Thanks
Thanks
To my knowledge the answer is no. Ram(sdram, ddr, ddrII, rdram) loses all stored data when power is lost.
Sounds like the old freeze the hard drive trick. Are you talking about that?

no sparkmaker am not talking about old freeze, I know that if i turn off the pc the data will be lost bet what if i take the ram while the pc On
That is not a good idea. Where did this method come from,I have never heard of such a thing and doing it would probably render the motherboard useless.
That wouldn't work either, power would be lost as soon as you removed the ram and you would most likely damage the ram and the motherboard. Ram is not hot-swappable.
the only memory you can retrieve data from are ROM, or PROM, EPROM.
...or a memory stick
