OWA on SBS2003SP1 doesn't work after mucking with EXCHWEB Directory Security. Login keeps failing

Same issue as a few other people but haven't been able to solve the issue even using any previous solutions

I have Windows Small Business Server 2003 SP1(which includes Exchange Server 2003SP1).  Outlook Web Access was working fine.  I was playing around with Directory Security (Authentication and Access Control) on the EXCHWEB site.  At one time I disabled the IUSR_Server anonymous access and enabled  the Basic Authentication.

When I put it back I could not access OWA from anywhere on any user ID.  I keep getting... You could not be logged on to Outlook Web Access. Ensure that your user name and password are correct, and then try again.

It's not the user ID/PW as they were working before I mucked round.  No accounts are locked out etc etc.  Originally it was working with just user ID and PW and it worked fine.  No domain names were required at login.  Now nothing works using any format !!

I was wondering if the IUSR_Server password got changed when I disabled anonymous access even though the dots are still in the password field.  I was thinking about changing the password on the IUSR_Server account and re-entering it in the Enable Anonymous Access password field but I'm not sure where else that password is entered in 2003SBS and don't want to make my issue worse.

Any ideas ?
