I suggest you real that article oBdA refered to. It is generally a good idea to keep the internal DNS name for the domain different to the public DNS name otherwise problems may result in the longer term. c-tree.local would be my preference.<br />

we are installing a new sbs 2003 server for one of our customers. We want to call the local domain the same as the external domain ie c-tree.co.uk. However, I seem to remember in the back of my mind that we cannot use the - character for this purpose. Can anyone confirm whether this is the case or not, as we would have to rethink the local domain name, if this is the case.<br />
