W3SVC-WP errors preventing access to RWW
Just finished installing a SBS 2003 server. Everything is working fine until we test RWW from within the local network.
We are able to connect to shared resources on the Server and to connect to the internet. Whenever we try to connect to RWW, we get the typical certificate warning. When we proceed we get the dreaded "Page cannot be displayed"
Looking in the event viewer we see the following errors repeated:
Source: w3svc-wp Event ID:2214
The HTTP filter DLL c:\inetpub\sbsflt\sbsflt.d ll failed to load. The data is the error.
Source: w3svc-wp Event ID: 2268
Could not load all ISAPI filters for site/service. Therefore startup aborted.
At this point I reran the connect to internet wizard and deslected everything but RWW. I am still getting the same errors and we are still unable to connect to the RWW.
I checked and confirmed that the c:\inetpub\sbsflt folder existed.
One other thing - I checked DHCP and saw that it status was unauthorized. When I went into actions to authorize it, the only option was to unauthorize - so thats what i did. The I selected authorize from the action menu. Now the DHCP is running fine. I do not know why it was unauthorized to begin with. We do not have any other DHCP Servers in the network.
Thanks
