Is it possible to automatically run a report in Crystal Reports 10 or 11 and have it post the data to a web page and send the report in an email as well?

You have a few options, all of which will cost you some money.

1. Purchase Crystal Reports Server XI, which costs about $7,500.  It gives you a web app that your users can log into to view there reports.  It also has scheduling and email distribution capabilities.
2. Purchase a 3rd Party too such as Millet Softwares's Visual CUT.  This gives you scheduling and distribution capabilities so you can export a report to a suitable format to view from a webpage or distribute via email.
3.Other option is to write your own app to handle this.

I have crystal reports 11. How would I auto run the report every X hours?

Commented:
You can't auto run it without purchasing a 3rd Party app, or writing your own code to do so.

Do you know of any 3rd party apps that run as a service? I've tried a few demos and I have to be logged in to have the report run on a schedule.

According to the author of Visual Cut you don't need to be logged in.

Here is an extract from his email to me

"There is absolutely no need to be logged in for a scheduled Visual CUT process to run.

Typically, scheduling of Visual CUT tasks is done by triggering a batch file via the free Windows Task Scheduler (which is a service).

During unattended (command line triggered processing), Visual CUT avoids dependency on a desktop, and hence there is no need for any user to be logged in."

pghzooit, perhaps you evaluated a version of Visual CUT prior to 5.4001.  That version was released on July 30, 2006.  It removed the dependence on the desktop (on someone being logged in) during command line (or scheduled) processing.

If you evaluated the software more recently, something else is interfering with the execution.  Perhaps you are using a User DSN instead of a System DSN...

Sorry for not making this clear;  I'm the author of "Visual CUT" as well as "CUT Light."
The two products are VERY different and can't be compared.
CUT Light is just a User Function Library (UFL) -  it can't be used to schedule reports.
