SQL Server 2005 help with importing data

Last Modified: 2013-11-30
I have just installed SQL Server 2005 Express and the Management Studio on my desktop. I'm trying to simply import data from an Excel spreadsheet into the database. When I right-click on my database and go to Tasks, Import Data (or Export Data) is not one of the tasks listed. I read somewhere about needing to turn on SSIS, but I can't find that anywhere. Please help. Thanks.

Sorry, but it's true. Laughing. It's free, but there are fewer "cool" things.
Because its not intended as an 'Enterprise' platform, there are no Enterprise features.

At least it has some client tools. MSDE never had any.
