Make my webserver more secure, SMTP, Exchange, Spam...?
I have Small Business Server 2003 Premium. I use thisas a webserver with SQL server. I dont use Exchange server. From time to time I get some error messages from my server:
-------------------------- ---------- ---------- ---------- -
Alert on POWEREDGE at 12.06.2007 02:00:14
RESvc service is Start Pending.
This service provides Exchange routing services using link state information. If this service is stopped, messages are not routed by the Small Business Server computer.

Alert on POWEREDGE at 12.06.2007 02:55:18
A large amount of memory is committed to applications and processes. Consistently high memory usage can cause performance problems.

The webserver is behind a firewall at my "server-house". Open ports is Web,FTP and RDP. I'm afraid that my server is being used by other to send spam mails... Is there possible to make the SMTP to work only for scripts (mailforms) hosted on my webserver? I dont use Exchange Server (I dont really know what it is, and I only need Windows Server 2003 + SQL server to run my webserver). Is there anything I can dissable to make my webserver more secure?
