How do I set the parameters on an html text box?<br />

I want the &lt;input type=&quot;text&quot; value=&quot;Data&gt; change the type of box displayed. &nbsp;The input properties I wanted to set for the text was the box type or the fact that the box is pressed in when you look at it. &nbsp;I wanted to have it look like a straight rectangle with no indendation. &nbsp;Also, surrounding the text box, I wanted to put a blue color.<br />

I am using html, and javascript. &nbsp;I am not that familiar with CSS but I can barely do it.<br />

I want the <input type="text" value="Data> change the type of box displayed.  The input properties I wanted to set for the text was the box type or the fact that the box is pressed in when you look at it.  I wanted to have it look like a straight rectangle with no indendation.  Also, surrounding the text box, I wanted to put a blue color.

I am using html, and javascript.  I am not that familiar with CSS but I can barely do it.
