It looks like something that is plugged into your USB port is drawing more power than the USB port casn provide - find out what it is and use an external power supply

Hi,

Just going by the error message it sounds like something is pulling too much current from one of your USB ports.

Have you tried unplugging all your USB devices and rebooting?

If it boots correctly I would plug each device back in in turn to see which one causes this error to return.

Then you'll know which device to replace if necessary.

There is nothing plugged into the USB ports. I tried plugging a mouse into each port once the computer was logged in and all the ports work.
I would advise to take the laptop to a technician or to your vendor if its still under warranty.
seems like there is something wrong between the Mobo and the power supply and they need to open it to check out and replace the defected piece.
in device management, select the usb root hub in the usb section, right click>properties>energy management, and set it to not use any power - and test

The problem was the USB was shorting out on the MOBO.
