PCL XL Error

Receiving message "PCL XL error, Subsystem: KERNEL, Error: Illegal Tag, Operator: 0x77, Position: 5 on my new HP Laserjet P3005dn printer.  Was trying to reload print driver that came with printer when it got stuck in the cd drive.  Anyway of downloading another driver or updated version that will work?

By the way you can get just the driver from the table called Driver.  Do not worry about the Universal Print Driver unless it will be shared (i.e. networked) or you need the "extras."  If you need the PCL driver then either 5e or 6 version should work but both are available.  Depending on the application, etc you might need one specific version.  Let me know if you have a question about this stuff.

It is a network printer.  Which driver should I use?
I would still get the file listed in the Driver table.  It will be the more minimal install.  That driver (PCL 5e or PCL 6) is compatible with Windows 2000, XP or Vista (and even 2003 Server).  If you have machines with other OS's that will need drivers then let me know.  There is a general page for that printer's drivers were other OS drivers are available.
