Nero 7 Updates Crashes TWICE

I had this problem and it never got resolved util I uninstalled the old version. But on top of that I had to use something like Regcool http://www.registryfix.com/?hop=pccleaner2  and did a search on all the keys for that software and deleted them. Then I installed the new version and all was good.

I want to thank Arkoak and Stevekorb for your suggestions and feedback. I don't know what I would do with great members like you. But, I need to ask one final question: in doing the research based upon your comments, I did indeed end up completely uninstalling the existing version of Nero 7 Ultra Edition and making sure that all keys referencing the program were deleted. That part was OK. But then, in preparing to reinstall Nero 7 Ultra Edition, I noticed they were offering a "free upgrade" to Nero 7 Ultra "ENHANCED". Well, I took that upgrade. But, honestly, I don't see much difference between the version I had (Nero 7 Ultra - Version 7.7.5.1) and the newly installed Enhanced Nero 7 Ultra (7.9.6.0). First, I see no difference between the 2 (except for the upgrade issue pointed out by Arkoak) and wonder about the programs abilities with the new tech (Blu-Ray, etc.)
So, is there any differences?
