SANS EMC AX150

Who knows of this SANS Hardware?

We are having problems configuring it. There is 12 250Gig drives but the BIOS only sees a little over 1 TB.

We do not have the management software.

Is there something in the BIOS has to be configured in order to see this?

If someone does not know off the top of there head I would love a link to the docs for this model. I tried dell but I got frusterated after about 20 minutes of searching and getting nothing.

Go to the link that honmapoq posted and register your AX150. You'll then be able to download Navisphere Express and the Navisphere Storage System Initialization Utility. You'll also need to download  Navisphere Agent and Powerpath.

If you've purchased the AX150 as a second-hand unit,  I'd recommend that you initialize the AX150 as if it was a brand new system. That way, you'll be sure to have it set up exactly the way you want it. First, you'll need to reset the AX150 to factory defaults as it is likely to have an IP address assigned and an administrator password set. To reset the system, power it down by pressing the power button located on the back panel of the storage system. This will initiate an orderly shutdown that can take several minutes to complete. Once the AX150 has turned itslef off, press and hold down the  power button for four to eight seconds. When you release the button, the Storage Processor boot LED starts falshing. Once the LED stops flashing, the array has booted and is completely uninitialized. You can then run the initialization utility to set the username and password and IP address.
