SNMP for Sonicwall 4060
I'm trying to set up PRTG to monitor a Sonicwall 4060. I enabled SNMP in the admin section and configured the host as 192.168.1.50. The X0 (lan interface) is 192.168.1.1.
I can ping from 192.168.1.50 to 192.168.1.1.
I entered the SNMP string but get an error "cannot connect". What am I missing?

(1) I have tried v1 and v2c which Sonicwall says it supports.
(2) PRTG, not MRTG. Paessler's commercial version of MRTG (more of less). I have tried v1 and v2c.
(3) Yes and have reset the community string to default 'public' as well as other strings to try to resolve.
(4) I believe so. It is configured under Administration and Management Protocols.

Ended up replacing the Sonicwall with a PIX. What a POS.
2) Do you have MRTG configured to use the correct SNMP version to do the query?
3) Do you have MRTG configured to use the correct read community name?
4) Did you configure Sonicwall to allow SNMP queries via the interface in question?
