comboxbox in vb6.0 help

I have a combobox (pull-down) in vb6.0....How do I set it so the users can't edit the box? Right now anyone can type and change what's selected...thanks!

In design mode, change the Style property of the combobox to "2 - Dropdown list"

yea but dropdown list won't let me set default text....it's just blank when i load the form

You can set it like this : Combobox.listindex = 1
