Citrix resolution degradation problem

Could someone please help:

We have been having a problem where every now and then with Citrix Presentation Server server 2003 sp1, where users resolution settings are degraded. This degradation can make writing in adobe documents just black lines. More often than not, restarting the session will resolve this problem temporarily. I have checked the Farm settings and the max memory for each users graphics is now set to 8192 (previously lower but I have increased this to the maximum). It is set to notify users of degradation once this buffer limit is reached (but users say this does not happen). Is there anything else I can try or a setting I've missed?. There are only 4 users using the server - 3 only use office/adobe, 1 uses a couple of other programs (slightly more graphics intensive) and this is the user that is getting the problem.

Thank you

Which version of Citrix Presentation Server are you running (including Citrix hotfixes and rollups), and which version of the Citrix client are the users running?  You said you checked the farm settings -- are the servers properties configured to use the farm settings, or is the "use farm settings" box unchecked and set to something else for the graphics/speedscreen options?

Thanks for the response.....
It's running 4.5.0.0 and the clients are using v10 for the client. The servers properties are configured to use the farm settings with the "use farm settings" box checked.

Cheers
