How to type in curly braces in italian keyboard layout?

I have an italian Windows XP and a keyboard layout and everytime I have to insert curly braces into my .NET code I have to use a charmap. Surely there must be a workoround for this issue but I just don't it. Any help will be greately appreciated.

If you look on the character map, in the bottom left corner, there should be a keyboard shortcut for the curly braces there. You'll need to highlight the symbol and then the shortcurt should appear.

What I had to do now to resolve the issue was to add the following key: EnableHexNumpad REG_SZ into he registry under:
HKCU \ Control Panel \ Input Method with the value of 1 and reboot my pc.

Now I can insert Unicode characters by holding ALT and "+" and typing a Unicode character Hex description. Like 7B for left curly bracket. And then releasing ALT key.

Solved!
