Hi
I currently use markers to show properties on a map but as I have about 300+ at any time it seems a bit slow, I've heard you can use labels instead, how is this done please?

Presently using : map.addOverlay(createMarker(point, name, addr, 'property'));

Tim, how up are you on Google Maps

I need to do tons more and will open new questions here if you can help along these lines:

# Adding a local search that displays results on my current map (eg integrate also with my current code @ http://www.shepway.gov.uk/sdc/mapping/)
# Maximising the map/window to use the available space
# Speeding up the display of markers when zoomed in >16
# Adding a working UK postcode search

Regards
Neil

Unfortunately, I've only used it once or twice, and the main time I used it, I completely drew my own tiles (I show the genomes of 3 different species) and didn't use any of the standard features :-(

Many thanks Tim

Just looked at some of your sites... way over my head!
