how do you tell if the machine is dual core without rebooting the machine?
I have a dell powered unit.
It shows 2 Processors 1750 machines, and even putting the service tag does not help in on their website.

Look at Processor entry on the General tab of Syatem properties (Right-click My Computer and choose Properties or Control Panel > System)

How do I know if it is dual core?  It say 2 processors, in dell open manage and under what you said.
But when you go into winmsd is shows 4 processors.
    Is this due to hyperthreading?
It mentions nothing about dual core.
