Default gateway missing on XP Pro clients in a 2003 AD domain

I previously asked a question about limited or no connectivity on XP Pro clients in a 2003 AD after demoting the first DC. 7/21/07 There are now 2 DCs, both GC's, and FSMO roles transfered to to server 2 prior to demotion of original server. I setup DHCP on the server 2 and the clients can browse the network but when I do a ipconfig /all on the client the default gateway is missing. Any ideas?

What is the client gateway set to on the DHCP server?  Is it set server wide, scope wide, reservation?
