Pocket Pc Forms issue... probably something very simple

Hello, I have a pocket pc program that has developed some bugs while in storage for a few months.  Everytime I open a form, even a simple about form.  It is showing up behind the main form.  You can verify this in the "running programs" menu.  The forms are opening, but they aren't showing up on the screen for some reason.  The main form just sits there always.  There is a little blink like it is trying to come up, but the main form is getting focus again somehow.

Anybody have any good ideas of common places for this problem, etc.

hmm.. repainting the main form too often? or from the client form?

could you show some relevant code?

i would, but i don't know what part of the code would be useful.  if i did, then i would have gone there already to fix it.  not trying to be a smart-ass, thats just the honest truth...

Well..I would try to enable and disable painting and similar events of your forms.
Also try to create something like an messagebox to see if it goes to the backround as well.
But the flicking is a sign that there is something wrong with the painting.

Maybe try to use another drawing mode in your paint function, like doublebuffer to see how it behaves (maybe it tells you something about what the problem is)
