What are Virus, Malware, Spyware and Trojan ?

Hi friends !

What are these terms ?

1. Virus,
2. Worms,
3. Malwares
4. Spy wares
5. Trojan

How they are different from each other? And how can I remove them from my computer.

There are many sites on the internet offering efficient products but the prices are high. I am not in the state to purchase all these products.

For virus removal, there are antivirus products i.e. McAfee, Norton, Avast, AVG, Panda etc. I have purchased&Symantec Norton Antivirus 2007 Purchased version.

For spyware removal, there are different products. One I know is Ad-aware.

I want to know if there is any good Spyware/Malware removal product that gives evaluation period to test their functionality and that is free.
Or WHETHER ALL THESE REMOVALS ARE AVAILABLE IN ONE PRODUCT?

Please give some details in this regard&

Thanks&

Viruses are programs/files having the capability to to alter the system files and programs

Worms are designed to harm your network and they spread using the same

Trojans are backdoors operators which sends information back to their vendors

Spyware doesn't harm your system, they just spy whatever you do online, like shopping, and can steal your information

Adware put popup ads on your systems related to their products

Malware can be simply defined as "anything which enters and resides in your system without your permission"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malware

no product in the market can give you 100% protection against malware
though we can recommend some of them on the basis of our experience and observations

I would vote for AVG as per my experience

and get Windows Defender for anti-spyware

The above post pretty much summed up the definitions of the terms you wanted. Google will give you all the info that you want.

And as for the one product that would best cover the lot, there is not one that can protect you from all of those nasties.
You need a separate antivirus for viruses, and another scanner for the others.

For a free antivirus, Avast is excellent and it's totally free.

As for a malware\spyware\worm\virus\trojan\rootkits scanner, the best out there would be SUPERAntispyware; it is also absulutely free, though to have a real-time protection you need to pay a once off small fee. but for an on-demand scanner it is so far the best.
