I sprayed too much Windex on my IBM T22 laptop display and now have large white areas on the screen.  I think there may be some Windex on the bexel.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

If this substance has water in it, you may have to wait for some time until it dries up completely, perhaps the condition goes away. Water does odd things to electronics (behind the screen are like millions of transistors) and if moisture penetrates through the screen surface, there'll be problems.

    Assisted Solution

try cleaning it off with a damp cloth, moistened a bit with water( or even a bit of mild soap)
otherwise, you may need to clean it with isopropyl alcohol on the cloth
