Small Business Server Remote Domain Clients

I have a client that is utilizing Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 as it's DC. They have a remote office that is connected via 2 SonicWall TZ-170's in a VPN configuration. How would I go about adding the remote office computers to our home office domain to unify user management and support?

With a VPN tunnel set up you would add the computer in the same way you'd add a machine that's right there in your office, with the http://<servername>/connectcomputer wizard.

This is assuming that the VPN tunnel is properly configured to allow full routing between the remote workstations and the LAN.

How would I test to see if the VPN is configured properly? I have attempted to add users to the domain and while I can get them connect from the remote office services is intermittent.
