tried to use instructions from playsforcertain to locate my MCI player, but I Can't find it?  CD/DVDs play fine except in PPt 2003.  The .wav files that came with the computer in Clip Art Organizer (part of PPt) work fine, but I can't get PPT to play anything I try to insert as a sound file that's part of my livbrary in WMP or Music Match. HELP!!!

The problem might be that you are going over the embedded-link file size which is generally low and then the linked file gets moved somehow.   Now you can change the value of when to link files by doing the following:

On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the General tab, increase the Link sounds with file size greater than ___ Kb setting to a size just larger than your largest sound file, up to 50,000 KB (50 MB).
Click OK.

Hope this helps.
