Compile Error in Hidden Module: Excel 2007

I have researched the problem with "Compile Error in Hidden Module: Excel 2007" and have tried the suggestions listed here and I did find the pdfmaker.xls, cut and pasted it to the My docs" folder.  Now a week later the error was returned. Office 2007 and Adobe 8 are running on a XP Pro 64 edition.

Any new suggestions on how to stop this annoying error when opening Excel or closing it???

Check both your XLSTART directories - one in C:\Documents and settings\username\application data\microsoft\excel and one in C:\program files\microsoft office\office12 - for files (particularly see if PDFMaker has resurfaced) and also check in the add-ins section under Excel Options to see what is loaded.

It's a compile error in a file that is loading at startup - either personal.xls or an add-in. Try disabling all add-ins and see if that cures it. Also check under Excel Options, in the Advanced section there is an option under General for an alternate startup folder. If there is one specified, check for any files located in that folder.
