On Exchange 2003 on the default email address policy my client has 5 different email domain names. Can any user receive email on any of these email domain names even though only one email address is listed in their user account as primary?

If you have 5 domains in the recipient policy - that means that your server can receive for those 5 domains and users will be given them automatically.

If the users do not have corresponding email addresses in those domains, then no, they will not be able to receive on those addresses.

If they DO have these other email addresses in their user account - even if they are not the primary address - then yes, they can receive email on these addresses.

Then the selected primary address only determines which email address is being used as the sending address?
