Embed word document inside iframe

If I embed a word document inside iframe, will it always show the document as pop up giving option to "save /open" ? Is this property of browser or code?

I would like that:
- If MS Word is there, document should open inside iframe. There should not be a pop up on page refresh.

How can I do this?

    Accepted Solution

As far as i can see it, you can open Word documents in iframe just in IE (FF will open document in Word or Word Document Viewer or similar).

The popup in IE will show depending on user's settings. If you uncheck 'show popup every time' there won't be any popup -> but you cannot do it with code.
