Leadtek DTV-1000T PCI Digital TV Turner Problems

Hi All

Just installed a DTV1000 card in my media box tonight.

Installed the software and set it all up fine.

I can watch SD TV which is all I want to watch but every now and then it will start recording and stop again. This freezes the broadcast and the PC for a bit until it stops.

I don't want it to record i want to use it purely for viewing, any ideas?

The PC specs are:
P4 2.0GHz
512Mb Ram
160Gb HDD
No video card.
XP Pro SP2

I have also downloaded latest drivers and PVR software from the leadtek site

check if you have some kind of scheduled captur  recording or a timer enabled.
Select an event first and then click Delete] button to remove it.
this is the ctual manual if it doesnt download
choose the  english here if you dont have the manual.
Look in the software settings  and time shifting
TimeShifting is a type of recording that enables you to view, rewind or stop the
playback of recorded video when its recording is still in progress. This function is
used when there is interruption during viewing of a TV broadcast and you do not
want to miss any of it. By clicking the Time Shifting button,
If you dont want it dont clik on the green button.
Stay in live mode only. [
Hope it helps you
