I'm trying to install our Lexmark 912E Multifunction Printer on an Windows XP Pro-64 bit OS, and the install is failing. I went to and downloaded the only 64bit driver they had published on the website, this software seemed to only include the scanner ultility software and not the actual install package.

Can anybody find the correct driver for this 64bit system?

    Accepted Solution

This is the software Lexmark says is for Win XP 64-bit:

Download it and save it to a folder.  Uninstall the currently installed printer.  Power down the pc and the printer.  Boot the pc back up (leaving the printer off).  Once the pc has fully loaded, shut it back down.  Then power back on the printer, then the pc.  Install as prompted.

You may very well have already done all of this.  The driver listed above is all that Lexmark has available for the Win-XP Pro 64-bit OS.  If that doesn't work, you could try the Vista driver.  If still no go, then you're essentially out of luck.
