Oracle Linked Servers

I come from a SqlServer background and have used "Linked Servers" in the past.
I require to do the same in Oracle now linking a 9i with a 10g database.
I don't even know the correct term to google for! Could someone please help me with some information on how to set this up.  Thanks

you need to look into oracle transparent gateways or into heterogeneous services.
that should help searching.

You can connect Oracle to Oracle using simple database links.  It all depends on what you are trying to do once they are connected.
