Win XP-Pro.
On boot up...receive error "Ddslaunch.exe could not start.   DistUtil.dll not found.
*suggestion was to re-install "whatever" program it was originally installed with or was deleted, in part.
But...what was the program ?  If if was a program deleted or un-installed and  is not available to me any longer to do a re-install,  how can I find were to delete this to stop error from popping if every boot up ?

Thanks any suggestions.

This program is related to Ricoh printers, perhaps you had or have one?

To disable the message, do the following:

Start -> Run -> msconfig -> OK

Click on the Startup tab, then uncheck anything that relates to dsslaunch there, then reboot.

A reminder at reboot reminds you that you disabled this option, just select the option to not remind you again.
Looks like it belongs to Ricoh Printer Software, "Start Delivery Services".

Look for Ricoh for updates to this app and get it reinstalled. Or simmply remove it via MSConfig as suggested above...
