Outlook Web Access (OWA) appointments do not display in Outlook

Appointments entered in Outlook Web Access (OWA) are not appearing in outlook's calendar. They appear correctly in OWA. But in Outlook 2003 and 2007 they are not displayed in the day/week/month view. They show up in list view when you do a 'find' and the reminder pop ups appear for them so it looks liked they are being stored in Exchange, but Outlook doesn't handle them properly. It does work the other way. Anything entered in Outlook displays properly in OWA.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Is Outlook running in Cached Exchange Mode with the default storage location set to the user's mailbox and not a .pst file?  (This would be the default configuration for an SBS installed client).

It is in Cached Exchange Mode. It uses an .ost file on the local computer.

Thanks,

Is this happening for ALL users or only one?

I just noticed that any time I edit the appointment in OWA it changes the End Time to None even though I specify a time. When I edit the end time in outlook everything looks ok until I edit it in OWA. Why is the end time none?

It is happening to all users and they're using both Oulook 2003 and 2007.

Can you please post the results of running SYSTEMINFO at a command prompt on your SBS?

Thanks.

Thanks for posting that.

Do you have automatic updates enabled?  Because you are missing some rather important patches, including most of the Exchange Server Updates:

KB912442
KB916803
KB931832

And while I didn't do a comprehensive evaluation of the rest of the updates, there may be others.

So before going any further, please go to Windows Update and make sure that all current updates are installed... EXCEPT for Server 2003 SP2.  Wait on that until you get this problem fixed.   Also, don't install any of the "optional" updates.  We only want to be sure that the server has all current critical updates.
