Sad to hear that. Is the outsourcing contract already in place, or are they currently looking for a vendor? My company does this kind of stuff.

The distribution company alone, or the whole "Ochs enterprise"?
Just the Distribution at this point.
The only way that I know of to get this to work is to create a database of RichText snippets, one of which will contain a horizontal rule, then use the NotesRichTextItem.AppendRT
One work around might be to use the MIME classes (look at the NotesMimeEntity class).
Another work around might be to append a table that would look like a horizontal rule (look at the NotesRichTextTable class).
