Can't Authenticate user

I am have trouble Authenticating user. I created a suer via the ASP.Net configuration manager.
I added a login control to my page. When I enter the user name and password it errors. Here's what I put in the web config

Look in the Windows registry for something like this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2
(Default)     REG_SZ      SQLEXPRESS

I have noticied that there is a icon on lower left that stays open and when I mouse over it says
ASP.NET Development server - port 1979

That is the Cassini personal web server that is used on the development side, so that you don't have to have IIS installed on the development machine.


Did you set up the users for the database?  What steps have you tried?

If I enter a user that isn't configured isapproved is false so at least it's looking in the database.

I open asp.net configuration and created a user.
I added a login control to a page.
I use the user name that I created when I try to log in.

Do your passwords meet the minimum requirements of the membership provider?

After researching the web I found several people that had to endup rebuilding there web site. I have created a new web site and it is working fine. Thanks for you help
