Exchange server 2003 . How to forward/re direct email to another exchange organization

Hi,
we have one forest with two domains. AB.com and CD.com  These two domains were merged under one forest.
Now we have the AB.COM exchange organization and they have the CD exchange organization.
My question is m that if my exchange organization receives and email for userA@CD.com  how can i re divert this email to their Exchange organization ?
They have suggested we are using mail sweeper but i am wondering if the exchange  can do this as well.
Thanks,
Nick.

Are these Exchange organizations at the same location or are they seperate.  If they are at the same location, do you have multiple IP addresses?  The easiest way is to simply keep the MX entries seperate for the two organizations.
Example:
MX record mail.AB.com points to ExchServerAB for AB.com
MX record mail.CD.com points to ExchServerCD for CD.com

Thanks,
Dan

If you don't have many users in the CD exchange organisation.you can create mail enabled contacts and create a SMTP connector in the AB.com to forward all the mail  to CD exchange orgnisation.

....unfortunately the CD exchange orhanization has more than 1000 users , so the mail enabled contacts wont be easy to scenario to implement.
If i do the two MX records , and have connectors betwwen the two organizations is that going to do the trick ?

Thanks both of you in advance.
