Import Java.Util in Flex application

Can I, And how do I use Java classes in Flex 2?

I wanne use Java.Util.Thread.Sleep() function and when I google it seems to be possible (ex: http://flexblog.faratasystems.com/?p=228) but how do I import java.util.*

You need to use Flex Data Services to use java as what i know u can't import java classes  in to flex.
