How to read Offline Files in CSC directory
I have 1GB of CSC files that I need to convert back into their original format. I can open the files one by one, making guesses as to what the appropriate program is to use e.g. word/excel/powerpoint.
Is it possible to convert all of these files back to their original state in one go? I.e. change the Word documents to filename extension .Doc , Excel to .xls etc.
Windows must change the files back to their original filenames when the offline files are used so there must be a little app that can do the same? Or as another approach is a program that can look at the file headers to determine the file type?

I've got version 1.0 of CSCCMD from the Windows 2003 Resource Kit and it says /Extract is an unrecognised option.
Do I need version 1.1 to use that parameter?

Ver 1.1 seems hard to get hold of, trying Microsoft tech support now. Anyone know where I can get it from other than MS?

Microsoft CSS UK can't seem to find it! Such a handy little app yet so hard to get hold of! Could anyone email it to me? support@NOSPAMprodriveit.c o.uk (removing letters in CAPS)

Nevermind got it from MS at last. I'll post back once I've tried it.
