Does anyone have a simple example of how to add a checkbox column to a CListCtrl? I want to be able to just stick that as the 0th column, check and uncheck the box for a row programatically.

See ("Adding Checkboxes to a list control"). For more complex examples, check out ("XListCtrl - A custom-draw list control with subitem formatting") and ("CQuickList")
