Linksys router not releasing IP address

I have a linksys BEFSX41 with the latest firmware... All was working OK until one day one computer would not connect.  I look in the router and the IP address that is normally used is not shown on the DHCP table.  I had the router set to max users of 6 (that was everyone on the system including printers)  Now for somereason the router is not reusing 192.168.1.101 and needed to increase the number of users to 7 since the router is not "release/reusing" 192.168.1.101.

Any ideas how to fix this?

i would either set it back to factory defaults and start over, and the last thing i would do is bump it down one firmware rev.

I have tried to use the reset button to reset it... no difference.  (power down, hold reset, power on, continue to hold reset button for 15-30 seconds).

Any other suggestions?
yes,  bump the firware down one rev

Really... I hav three of these routers... the other two are OK with the same firmware.... Linksys has not updated the lastest firmware for over a year. I would think its pretty stable..... you still think I should try that?

Well, same issue, however I went back to the latest rev and still had the same issue... just today I looked and it appears that it decided to work correctly.  Strange.
