Exchange Filter remover

There was a utility that came with Exchange 2000 that could remove unseen filters on email accounts.
I was located on the cd under the utilities folder.

Does anyone know where i can find that now??

Thanks
Lisa

I'm guessing you're looking for smtpreinstall.exe?

Couldn't find a download floating around, but I think if you download a service pack and extract the contents the tool would be in there:

Do you mean every email that comes into the organization, or every email that comes into a specific mailbox?

If it's a specific mailbox that you think is forwarding a copy elsewhere; I'd check that user's account properties in AD - Exchange General tab - Delivery Options button - middle section labeled Forwarding Address.

If you suspect it's every email coming in then it may be Message Journaling (or Archiving). In System Manager, go to the properties of the Mailbox Store in question - on the General tab you'll see a check box for "Archive all messages sent or received by mailboxes on this store".

Here's a decent article that explains the message journaling: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF011.html
