I have a fresh hard drive and brand new windows xp sp2 home edition operating system. No other programs are installed accept for Ministry Scheduler that uses MSSQL SQL Server for its database. It always takes two log off attempts to shut down. The Labora service which is part of the Ministry Scheduler seems to shut down first, but then the MSSQL seems to stop the XP shut down process. The authors of the Ministry Scheduler have no idea for a solution. If I remove the software from the computer, the problem disappears. When I reinstall, the problem reappears. By the way, I don't even have to initialize/open the Ministry Scheduler software. If I log in, then try to turn off, the shut down problem occurs. This is a virgin computer and I have isolated the issue to MSSQL. Any thoughts...thanks!
