I like to search for a email in all folders of lotus Notes
I can search for the emails in all the folders of the current directory which works well.

    Go to the All documents view and search there.

    Can you give me the steps to get to all documents view. I have a hard time finding the "all documents" view

    In Notes 6 or Notes 7, open your inbox.  On the left you have a pane with all your folders (Inbox, Drafts, Sent..., etc.). AFter TRASH, you sould see VIEWS, FOLDERS, and TOOLS.  Click on VIEWS.  It will show ALL DOCUMENTS, MAIL THREADS, and possibly CHAT TRANSCRIPTS. CLick ALL DOCUMENTS.
