LSA Shell encountered a problem and needed to close

I am running a windows 2003 Standard server.  This server is a DC, DNS, DHCP, etc.
I've recently been getting LSA Shell encountered a problem and needed to close.  The system doesn't reboot automatically and have scanned for viruses, spyware, malware, etc.
However it seems that once a day the server hangs up and needs a restart.  I'm failry certain that this is related.

Have you tried to run Hijackthis to see possible threats that maybe in the background? Might be a good start.

Hi Spec01,  Yes and the system is clean. I've tried Hijackthis, counter-spy, spybot, and ad-aware.  Also have run our standard Symantec AV 10.2  and Stinger.  We also did this in safe mode.  There are no infections, the suspected registry keys are clean, and i ran a full search for any file remotely close to avserve.exe.  This is an HP ML 350 G4 server.  It's a DC, Backup Exec server, and AV server, and all hp components pre-loaded.

Does it list anything in the event logs on why the computer hangs? How old is the HP server? is it still under warrenty? Do you have all the lastest drviers for your server? Have you checked the System Information list to make sure that you have no conflicting issues between hardware or drivers?
