What do you want to run/use in the office when operating remotely?
VPN put's you on the local LAN using the apps on your remote system
RDP (Remote Desktop) allows you to operate as if you are on the machine in the office using the apps on the office system

So you just want to be on the LAN and share files?

Do you have a VPN router in the office?
I dont have VPN router at office.

To VPN into the office, you need a VPN server (usually easiers in small sites if embedded in the router)

Do you have an IT person in the office? Do others work remotely?
